To Care & Love Yourself is the Greatest Gift You Can Give Yourself…
To feel FREE has always been important for me growing up. To feel I can express myself with others, how I feel, what I know and how I choose to live my life. I knew deep down this would make a difference to my happiness and wellness! Of course always considering the good of all.
BUT then life happens and you tend to follow the laws of society, ‘This is the best thing to do, you should do this, take care of this, you’re not the centre of the world, life is not all about YOU!’
So you focus out there, take care that everyone feels good and sacrifice and suffer yourself! AND you wonder why you feel drained, tired and miserable, wondering where you went wrong!
Thankfully in my early 30’s, 2 great men in my life, my late husband Tom and Peter my Teacher helped me realise that to take care of and love myself, was the No 1 basic necessity and greatest gift you can give yourself to live a happy, well and abundant life!
Over a 5 year period journeying within myself, I began to refocus, reclaim and reprogramme myself. It was indeed a Journey of Freedom, which allowed me to be me and feel happy and well in my own right!
I have never looked back from this time of dedication, in fact this new focus and way of living, or should I say loving, allowed me to open up to more and more potential and celebration. In 2014 I was inspired to write about and publish this quite sacred and magical journey to freedom.
My book #YourMagnificentSelfAJourneyToFreedom shares the changes I made that allowed me to fall deeper and deeper in love with myself… that revealed many life secrets along the way, and continues to help me understand the magic of life and the potential that is ready to come in and serve each of us.

Compassion for me is when I feel an absolute outflowing of love and empathy towards another, coupled with this I feel the will to do good or support that person with unconditional love.
I feel as though the soul drops in and great warmth and magnetising happens for me. The soul is in charge, there are no thoughts of selfishness. I am in complete surrender and a nameless state.
I feel no fear, have no agenda, I am in complete care of another, person, creature, or event. Engulfed by the divine a true volition occurs and moves me to create states of harmony and peace.
Compassion is a deep state of love, it heals people, animals and all things. You are truly blessed in this state.

You are right about loving yourself first. If you love yourself first thenvl you will able to help others. You don’t want people to drink from an empty vessel.

Yes Joseph, unique fingerprints of consciousness, making sense of reality how we each uniquely sense it. Nothing right nor wrong, just different, all honouring ourself, our life and each other. At the beginning of my Awakening journey I heard of so many teachers, healers, writers burning out! I really wondered what was happening. But upon closer observation I saw how they were only serving others, sacrificing themselves, which I understood quite clearly wasn’t the way to go! Or should I said that was the way to an early grave! Yes Kirsty’s words really resonate more with me also today… so far I’ve brought myself💃😁, to that deep place of compassion. I do hope you are dealing with your sadness in the family, IAM sure you will be a shining light of hope to everyone concerned as you truly understand how death is actually an important part of our life that we can celebrate. Yes, we are commanded to love others AS WE LOVE OURSELVES. We can’t give away what we don’t have. In my faith journey, I love ❤️ because He first loved me. He fills my cup to overflowing.

We only ever give of what we are Barbara. Some want to give us a ride on a rocket ship…but never flown one. Life will give us that experience of love, empathy and compassion so that we can love ourselves and then give out that love we have found. We get a bit zoom, zoom and want everything today…but love…it is in those day to day chats, adventures, hugs…and even the lack of one. Both sides of all those emotions must be touched, felt and delivered to a center within us that can never become full. just shine with a beauty as it understands itself and grows. Big hugs dear lady, that inner place has touched something very beautiful, the butterfly has awoken to another world. Be gentle, be compassionate…to yourself…and be free in its understanding ❤️🙏🏽
Dear Mark, and you give so much to us all here, and are so grateful. Yes I’ve been on the rocket but I prefer to drive my Range Rover!🤣😂 It’s much more gentle to spread the love I’ve discovered along my journey. AND I’ve learned patience these last few years, to enjoy the present moment. Enjoying the company of others, enjoying the simple things and just shining our light with no goal ahead… just more peace, love and joy in different forms. Oddly enough I do feel the joy. I also feel the regenerative energy of humanity in their learning process. Throughout the chaos I feel peace. It is like the seasons and it depends where you live that Winter there is a bubbling of awakening. Spring is when they are born and everything is new and shiny. The summer is when you are feeling more and more the light that is shining on everyone the truth is exposed. Autumn you have gained the wisdom of discernment and you have truly harvested your gifts you have acquired in every season. Be joyous my friend. 💝💝💝
