This is my story… YOU tell me… what my story says about me.

Umm… amazing how the door easily opens and leads into a lush garden of long vibrant green grass and red poppies… rabbits leap high and butterflies, blue butterflies more than you could imagine are flying around. A little girl sits on a step to the left, outside a small home… she looks at me, smiles and signals for me to come and sit with her. Her name is Barbara and she shows off her new red dress, gives me a whirl and a handstand and asks me why I look and feel tense? She goes on to tell me about how she goes and lies down in the grass and allows the butterflies to play with her, flying in circles around her arms and head. She says this helps her relax and after a while tiny ladies with bright white wings come and sit with her and remind her of her magical power. ‘Let’s go and lie in the grass together’ she eagerly says running forward… I follow her, already feeling great!❤

Tom and I are visiting England for our summer holiday… an extended stay, looking after my mum, who’s recovering from a broken femur (leg bone just below the hip) and sightseeing with my dad. Weather is awesome, so enjoying gardening and Tom is enjoying the football and tennis. Hope you are all enjoying the run up to summer… its hot, but we love it!

We love driving our car on our summer holidays. We drove through Spain and France… enjoying the countryside and stayed at great places. We spotted one Tesla electric station along our route… not sure its enough if the world wants to bring in more electric cars! We booked the Channel Tunnel from Calais to Dover, which is awesomely organized and arrived in Derbyshire in good time for Sunday dinner with the family.

My dad loves steam trains so when he heard the steam train in Duffield (my childhood home village) was up and running, he bought some tickets and we all enjoyed a great afternoon travelling the beautiful Derbyshire countryside (Duffield to Wirksworth).

I love capturing life on my iPhone… This time I took a picture of an old green door that got my imagination working… so posted it on my facebook page asking others what they would experience upon opening the door. Well… I’ve never had such a great response and traffic attraction!
