Guest Blogger/Author Feature… The Magnificent Joseph

Introducing you to the Magnificent Joseph

Welcome Joseph to my NEW Guest Blogger/Author Feature, it is truly an honour to have you stand on this platform and share your Magnificent presence with the world. It is a delight to have you amongst my Divine brothers and sisters here on WordPress, to read your inspiring whispers of spirit and get to know the person behind your words.

Joseph’s heart beats as one with Mother Earth/Gaia, who inspires him to write his poetry, sketch and paint the beauty of her natural world… from his walks by the sea, the countryside of British Columbia and enjoying pottering in his ‘showcase’ garden. He loves being at home, cooking up tasty dishes for family and friends and writing… writing and writing… Over the years he’s written numerous children’s story books too… ready to be published. Our children are waiting Joseph…

Joseph shares his feelings on Compassion…

Helping people through mediumistic abilities or psychic abilities is intangible and where science lags behind the spiritual world. Healing comes in various ways such as meditation, prayers, chanting etc. The energy that comes from your heart through your hands is channeled to the person in need or the world as a whole. Research is divided on the ability to heal. Healing suggest the process of making or becoming sound or healthy again. With healing, where do you draw the line between sending healing for the hope of healing people and then sending compassion while sending a peaceful transition and comfort if these people are terminal? Either way compassion is part of the process.

You see compassion is not really effective if we do not have and nourish compassion within us. I have experienced Satwa with my acts of compassion not knowing that what I was doing was an act of compassion at the time. When you raise your vibration and you have the chance to experience Satwa tears which are of light and clarity. It is a new beginning with yourself and for others.

Compassion for myself and for others has brought me to write several books of poetry. Without compassion in my life I probably would not be a writer. When a writer writes and has their work published and that work finds its way to the mind of others in which one line or the whole book etc., raises the reader’s vibration, then to me this is an act of compassion. Other people’s compassion towards me and changing my course of vibration, I was able to put fire in my pen to write.

Multiple scenarios exists once the layers to compassion are peeled off. Compassion is much more than the examples I provided. Action is where compassion is truly felt. For me as hard as it is sometimes to see people’s sufferings, the art of giving without expecting anything in return is truly an act that raises the vibration and when vibrations are raised anything in life is possible.

Everything in my life with compassion for self and others has made me arrive at the person I am today. When we realize we are all ONE our potential for compassion will be that greater. Think what we all seek is compassion in the light. A journey to be well taken and one to stay on. Let the flicker become flames of compassion needed for spiritual evolution.

Be well my friends and stay well. Joseph

A Small Dot
A Small Dot

Poetic fatigue

I write, write and write
Stringing letters together
Fortifying lines together
Screaming a poem out

Writing, stringing, fortifying
Letters, lines, poems
Write, together, screaming out
A poem written with weariness.

Letter tired, line fatigue, poem exhausted
Dribbling letters, sagging lines, wilted poems
The end with a dot.
Poetic fatigue

Joseph’s Biography…

I reside in British Colombia, Canada on Vancouver Island. I have to say this is the most beautiful place to be encountered and to be felt spiritually.

I have a BA in psychology and have worked with people suffering from life threatening and terminal illnesses. I did a lot of volunteering as well in homes for the aged, Canadian mental health association and many others. I found this rewarding and sometimes difficult but those difficult times is what made me grow spiritually. Having volunteered in many positions helped me with being non-judgemental in nature as these people can test your resolve. With the life threatening and terminal illnesses saw me comforting the dying and supporting those who were afraid of dying. Quite the tightrope to balance. What I brought to the clients was a different perspective with dying and made them more at ease and at peace with the process. On the other perspective I left that type of work behind and saw myself becoming a professional landscaper. I closed this side of the business down and began my journey as a garden designer. I feel a rise of change again and have no idea what or where this is going to lead me but I know it will be another growth in my spiritual development.

A Book Review…

‘Joseph writes from the spirit to the spirit. There is such an ethereal quality to his words that many times they pack a deep and awakening punch. His poetry is profound and reaches far beyond the trite or sing-song rhyme we are most often drawn to. It’s more a lesson in mindfulness and soul-searching than entertainment.

To be certain, it challenges one to dig much deeper and seek all the nuggets hidden in the message. Many layers to unpeel in every poetic expression Joseph shares.’ Annie B

Thank you Ka Malana in weaving your words to show me your kindness with praise. I am pleased you like my work. Yes we are all connected in some way. And in being all connected sort of a tapestry in the making and when we make we do not see the whole tapestry unless we stand back. Thank you for showing me your part in the tapestry. Be well.

Wow! Joseph, it is no surprise that I was just connecting more deeply with you today on your blog! Then, to come here and see Barbara’s light on your work, I am even more appreciative of the way you strung your words together in your poem, and in your life – and all our interconnectedness! Thank you for having the compassion to write and publish! I appreciated reading your words and experiencing the loving touch of volunteering, and embracing my own memories through your expressing your words and thoughts in this way, a way that I couldn’t quite articulate as you have. xo Thank you, Barbara for sharing Joseph with us here. Great title, for a your book and a gentle welcoming cover.
