Enjoying my food, wine and home…

A fish salsa delight

I love cooking, simple and tasteful dishes… Tonight’s delicious meal was made according to my friend Sindy’s recipe and blog post… http://bluebutterfliesandme.wordpress.com/2013/07/26/water-water-everywhere
‘fish salsa tortillas’… except I added nectarines and fresh prawns I had lying around waiting to be included in this scrumptious meal… So thank you Sindy… It was delicious… (I just missed the margarita’s… will ask you for the recipe soon…)

fish salsa

Of course everyone has their own unique way of being and doing things… so the way we cook is no exception…  Here you can see I sautéed garlic, red and green pepper, red onion and fresh Mediterranean white fish with a lot of hot herbs, spices and lime juice…

Too hot to handle

With a little help from a lovely glass of local spanish red wine, the chef peeled some fresh prawns and prepared the avocado… Don’t you just love my hot plate at the back… Too Hot to Handle… this is so me… with my sparkling colourful leggings… although not in this climate…

Empty bottles

While everything is bubbling away, I turn around and take a picture of my throw away corner… empty bottles of…  red wine and apple cider vinager… a YES for every household…

Relaxing in the light...

While I have the camera out, I wonder what else I can show my new friends on wordpress… of my home… maybe some of my favourite spaces inside and outside…

Above is my place of peace under the stairs, where I keep my grandchildren in the light…

Loved ones...

The opposite corner of our home has more pictures of my family & friends… and my wordpress laptop next to where I sit when I want peace & quiet…

Office...

This is our office… where most of the work gets done…

Fairy Garden

Outside I have a small crystal garden where all the fairies and other elementals relax and play…

Quiet place, near the pool

The opposite end of the garden where I relax and keep cool diving in the pool…

Hope you enjoyed seeing a little bit of my home life…. Barbara

I love the feel of your home. The Spanish wine and the fish and prawn tortillas looked scrumptious, too. Looks like a very happy evening. 🙂

Share your love ... thank you x
